The Denali Park Road camping system

Camping in Denali requires shuttle-bus access beyond mile 15 (private vehicles restricted). Campgrounds at Riley Creek, Savage River, Sanctuary River, Teklanika River, Igloo Creek, and Wonder Lake distribute camping access along the road.

Getting to Denali

The park entrance is at Mile 237 on the Parks Highway (Route 3), about 4-5 hours north of Anchorage by car.
