About Mountain Pines Campground
Once again....our 5th visit to this campground, and it was a great one. The owners both have put more of their artistic pizzazz into the surroundings. From more cast-iron work placed in random spots to their beautiful quaint "Happy Place" greenhouse. The best NEW feature is the handmade macrame giant hanging planter that the owner made from scratch!! It's gorgeous. It holds a lush elephant ears plant and noticable as you first drive in. This campground is perfect if you are looking for a "real" camp experience. Just the right amenities for camping. Bathroom, shower, running water, some electric spots, the river along the entire camp and yes, it was deep enough to swim and raft. If you pay close attention and quiet your mind you too may see blue herrings, bald eagles and simply capture the true essence of nature. To top it off, the prices are great, and so much to do in the area...Polar Caves, Sculptured Rocks left from the grounds. To the right...a little ways up over bridge 71. A fantastic sing hole, with more sculptured Rocks. If you forget something or need something, don't fret....Walmart, Dunks, and many other stores are less than 20 minutes away. Hidden Pines, is definitely a HIDDEN GEM. ❤️❤️❤️
